Belgian Hill Farm is located in the beautiful Loess Hills of southwestern Iowa where owners, Terry and Deb Pierce, raise and show Belgian draft horses as well as produce a line of equipment for use with draft horses.

We are a family operation and the Pierce family has been showing Belgian draft horses since Terry's grandfather, Orval Pierce, bought a used set of brass show harness out of the Chicago Stock Yards in 1948 and started showing his Belgian's.  Four generations of the Pierce family have competed in the show ring since Grandpa Orval caught the "hitch itch."   In 2009 neice, Alex Danker, joined us in the showring as the latest family member to show in competition.
